Accreditation & Associations

The International Preschools is accredited by the New York State Association of Independent Schools. NYSAIS accreditation means that we have undergone a rigorous evaluation process and that our practices meet their standards.

The International Preschools is licensed by the New York City Department of Health.

We are a member of these associations:

• Independent Schools Admissions Association (ISAAGNY), which sets admissions best practices and dates for notifications and replies — to ensure an orderly and equitable admissions experience for families.
• Parents League of New York, a coalition of parents and independent schools that supports families and children by providing a broad range of educational and parenting resources.
• New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS), which, in addition to accreditation, offers professional training for faculty, administrators, and trustees, advocacy for independent education, and information helpful to school administration.
