7 Weeks in June and July
IPS Summer Camp is a great place for children to make new friends and reconnect with their old ones. It’s also a fun, relaxed setting where children can get acclimated to school routines before school starts in September. IPS teachers plan recreational activities that build on the social and emotional growth of our students.
Each camp week is chock full of activities including special performances, theme days, indoor and outdoor play (including water play), art, and music! We partner with SwimJim (located at 305 East 86th Street) to offer group swim lessons to our campers entering the 3s and 4/5s programs in September. All of this adds up to the perfect camp setting for preschool-aged children!

Guppies
Children entering our 2s program
IPS Summer Camp is a great introduction to school for our youngest students. The Guppies are for children who are entering the 2s Program the following September. It allows children to acclimate to our school within a relaxed schedule and setting.
What better way for your child to spend a summer in NYC than at our wonderful school, supervised by our professional and talented teaching staff?
Goldfish
Children entering our 3s program
The Goldfish are for children entering the 3s Program the following September. New IPS students (as well as current ones who are entering a longer school day in the fall) can acclimate to these changes within a relaxed summer schedule and setting. All Goldfish will take part in a weekly sports class, provided by HappyFeet. Full-day Goldfish will swim twice a week with SwimJim, a local aquatic school that is steps away from IPS.
Whether for a few weeks or the entire summer, IPS Summer Camp is a great place for our 3s to have fun!
Dolphins
Children entering or graduated from our 4/5s program
The Dolphins group is for IPS students who are entering the 4/5s Program the following September or who just completed the 4/5s program. The Dolphins will participate in a weekly sports class, provided by HappyFeet. They will also swim twice a week with SwimJim, an aquatic school just steps from IPS. Children thrive when they have a trusted routine, and for our oldest kids, the Dolphins group provides comfort, activity, and lots of fun! It’s a great place for our graduating students to spend a few last weeks with their favorite IPS teachers and friends.
